Part D: Reference To The Story

In the the film Shrek, we see an ogre struggling to cope with life. Shrek is forced to live in solitude because his freakish appearance gives people the impression of a monster. The creature of Frankenstein is forced to also live alone because its parent desertion and its grotesque form being labeled as a monster. Both creatures are basically very misunderstood and in need of parenting and friendship. Frankenstein meets his sorry demise, but story of Shrek shifts when he attains a certain amount of glory from the townspeople. These two tales both are astonishingly similar except for the fact that one is rated E and the other 18A. Apparently Frankenstein was a very horrible story at the time.
